I don’t know if any particular school intentionally sets out to do that, but I think subconsciously they’re thinking about, we can’t take the risk of finding that this didn’t happen or allowing this student to stay on campus. And if a second event takes place, and of course civilly, you’ve been given notice. And that makes your liability that much higher if you allow someone to stay in the school who’s been accused of some type of sexual misconduct.
